Small animal rescue – Latton

Description: Firefighters from Stratton St Margaret used their specialist animal rescue team to remove a stranded swan from a frozen lake near Latton this morning. The RSPCA had attended following reports of a juvenile swan which had been on the ice for three days, and was exhausted and immobile. The team used an inflatable sledge to reach the swan which was placed in the care of the RSPCA, following itsĀ  ordeal.
