Director of Community Safety – Andy Cole
Andy's fire service career began in 2004 as an on-call firefighter, and he became an Assistant Chief Fire Officer in 2021.
As Director of Community Safety, Andy is responsible for Area Commands, Prevention, Protection, Service Control Centre, operational risk and operational guidance, resourcing, on-call development and operational communications. Andy is also the strategic lead for the Network Fire Services Partnership (NFSP) and is the SLT champion for the M.E. network.
