Chief Fire Officer Ben Ansell is presenting a number of Commendations this year and further presentations will be held in the coming months for those people unable to attend the ceremony. Recipients are as follows:
- FF Jake Chislett, WM Andy Elliott, CM Jonathon James, FF Ross O’Donovan (all Maiden Newton fire station) – in recognition of their brave and courageous actions during a road traffic collision on the A37 on 29 October 2022.
- Crew Manager (Control) Sarah Knell – in recognition of her hard work, professionalism and dedication to the Neurodiverse Network, and in particular her commitment to prevent hoax 999 calls.
- Christine Sharma – in recognition of her actions and contribution to support the Service on its cultural journey.
