Description: At 6.05pm, several 999 calls were received reporting a fire in a detached house in The Butts, Westbury. On their arrival firefighters found a fire in the roof of the house which had spread to other areas. Crews quickly requested support and at the height of the incident, approximately 40 firefighters were at the scene. Crews used eight sets of breathing apparatus, three main lines and multiple hose reels to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
