Description: Fire crews from Beaminster, assisted by firefighters from Yeovil and Crewkerne have attended a fire involving a combine harvester near Rampisham. The fire was confined to the engine compartment and was tackled by the owner using three dry powder extinguishers prior to the arrival of the fire service. Firefighters used a hose reel jet and remained for some time ensuring that the vehicle was fully cooled and safe.
